In today's State of the Union address President Obama is urging members of Congress to pass healthcare,

labor safety and education measures the next day to secure "an unprecedented fourth act." His remarks take up nearly four hours and were peppered throughout many paragraphs during this address - with the president stressing how his agenda makes up many details so members who have spent their first few years away will not see as stark an impact from the law they've fought so hard for. Among its chief features will be extending healthcare to undocumented youth, protecting gun control advocates from civil liability on assault weapons in the home, raising corporate tax rates -- many on wealthy income brackets -- lowering spending on health, expanding investments into infrastructure through infrastructure investment agreements. So the administration has also sought the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee funding program which, he said, was "just one part in a campaign of reform, to show leadership. That is why we've chosen $17.9 million, including new investment." And "in many senses the Democrats are ready too and they will support everything on a budget level that helps create jobs and lift us out of decline. On so many other issues like education the Republicans will hold up things and try to prevent some things from happening," he added.
